I currently use PhotoShop Creative Suites, installed as an upgrade a few years ago when it was first released. In preparing to upgrade to CS2 I was exploring my program hard drive directories via the Windows XP Explorer program and discovered there are separate sub-directories under Adobe on my computer for Acrobat Elements, Acrobat Elmenets 2, and Elements 3, as well as for Adobe Creatve Suites. Yet when I look for my installed programs via the Windows ‘Add/Remove Programs’ command under Control Panel all that is listed is Adobe Acrobat Creatve Suites and none for any of the Elements versions [although there is a listing for an Adobe "Photoshop Starter Editon 3".

What are these sub-directories for the various versions of Elements – are they the left over old copies which have not been removed during the CS installation, and can I delete them?
