I have spent a couple of hours googling and searching this forum to answer this question, so I’ll very embarrassed if I missed it.

I drew a rectangular shape over an image (no problem), but I couldn’t find an easy way to know the dimensions (i. e. 50×70 pixels, or inches, or whatever) of that particular shape.

Am I missing something or there’s no easy way to find it out?

Thanks in advance.
Manuel.

It depends on how you draw the triangle, but in general, the Info Palette will give you dimensions.

As YrbkMgr said, the Info Palette will show you. For example, if you have two layers, your image and your rectangle. Ctrl+Click on the rectangle layer in the Layers palette, which will make a selection out of it. The info palette will give you the dimensions of your selection.
