I have created an Action for converting files and I want to use it during the batch process. The problem is that in the Action i need to stop for some time to do the selection. That works fine when i play that Action for only one file. When i try to use it with a batch process, Photoshop cancels whole batch process when it gets to the stop in my Action. If i click the play button after the selection is done Photosop only finishes that one file. Do you know the solution for that?

Actions with embedded STOP commands that where you click STOP, do something, and want to click PLAY to resume just don’t work when invoked through File > Automate > Batch, so abandon that strategy.

Sounds like you’re trying to use the Rectangular Marquee tool to "crop" your image. Record a Crop step instead and be sure the "show dialog" checkbox (the one closest to the inside) is checked on for the command. That will allow you to crop each the image to your liking AND continue processing within the batch process.

Does this help?
