Hi,

I’m using Adobe Photoshop CS2, XP and IE6.

Here is my wish:
I have a picture on the internet browser (jpg / gif)
Is it possible to have Adobe Photoshop CS2 in the right Context Menue like
"Open Picture with CS2" so that I could open that picture directly with Photoshop?
Copy or save Picture to disk ist not wished 😉

Exampel:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MenuExt CONTEXTS REG_DWORD to HEX 0x2 for Picture Contentand key "res://c:\Programme\Adobe\Adobe PhotoshopCS2\Photoshop.exe"

This doesnt work, because here is only xxxxx/file.html allowed 🙁

Anyone an Idea?

kind regards Tim

Tim,

The problem with this is the image is already open (a html tag linking to an image file location) on the webpage, otherwise you wouldn’t be able to see it, it is already "opened with" your browser. I know what you are trying to do and I have added locations to the file context menu in the past such as move to folder and copy to folder but these additions caused all sorts of problems, see http://windowsxp.mvps.org/movetocontext.htm You may better off asking this question in a NG dedicated to your flavour of web browser.
