Photoshop does not save JPEG

Hi,

It is very strange to me. I have converted a photo to PSD format, saved that and then wanted to copy a version in JPEG, but PS(CS) does not give this choice. I can "save for wab" in JPEG but not "save as". I have done this several times before but this time it does not work. What’s wrong?

Hello Mogh,
From what you describe, I would say you are working with a 16 Bit image. You cannot save this a JPG,(only 8Bit) but as you have discovered, you can save for web.

Hello Mogh,
From what you describe, I would say you are working with a 16 Bit image. You cannot save this a JPG,(only 8Bit) but as you have discovered, you can save for web.
