Can I uninstall 4.0 and 6.0 without clobbering CS2?

Yes. You should probably decline to uninstall shared files.

Thanks you, Bob. It worked just fine, and freed up some disk space.

Just a word of advice:

If you need to clear those two apps off your hard drive because you need the space, you should strongly think about getting another hard drive.

Together, the application files only amount to about 22 MB.

I have 33GB of free space on the drive. I apologize if I gave the impression that my motivation to remove the older versions was because I was running out of space. If there was a good reason why I should keep those older copies, then I guess it’s too late to do anything about it. I also have uninstalled my old copies of Microsoft Office 97, AutoCAD r2.7, and my old Wordstar. They are no longer needed. Recovering the HD space is just a nice little bonus.
