Is it possible to simulate the effect of a graduated (photo) filter in PS 7, and if so, how? I am trying to put an orange sunset effect in the upper portion of the picture without changing the bottom. A gradient would seem to work except that the colored part is opaque.

Thanks,
Cooter

Maybe try adding a layer mask, and fiddle with a black to white gradient on the mask to get the blending you’re after.
