I’m fairly new to Photoshop was hoping someone might have a fix for me (Photoshop CS)….

I’ve been working on some very simple gif’s, using the same font colour, style and size each time (web site buttons). Tonight when I went to do some work, the font appears thicker and the edges are "fuzzier" than before.

Have I accidentally tripped up a setting and not realized it? I would make a button based on one of the previous ones, but all I have saved are gif’s, no psd’s…

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You turned on Anti-Aliasing of your fonts.

There are 3 or 4 main settings. None, Sharp, Smooth and something else.

You can find this setting in the tool options menu.

You have learned a valuable lesson my son, always save the psd file until the project is finished!

Correction… Always save the psd file, archive it somewhere forever after.

Cause the odds are someone at some point in the future is gonna want a file based on it.
