We are wanting to add some images to our website. The original size is 15900 x 1503, and we need to fit it where it will appear as both a 140 x 140 thumbnail and a 240 x 240 larger image. I’m having a time getting these sized just right. Can anyone help me here. Sure appreciate it.

Go Image > Image size and set the new dimension you want, with resampling on. Be aware that unless you made a typo, there is going to be serious distortion in the image as the original is nowhere near square.

If you have PSCS2, Image Processor in Bridge can be used, and can set the colour profile to sRGB at the same time.

Kenny–

In image size, change your resolution to 72 (web resolution)

Then as Don said, resize it, but since it’s not a square image, you’ll need to crop it first. Use either the crop tool or the marquee tool and crop off what you don’t need. Then go to image>crop and it’ll be cut down. You can use your rulers to make sure it’s the size you need.
