Hi, I would like to know how I can buy Adobe Photoshop 7 and if I can, how much is it?

You could go back in time a few years, or you could buy the current version: CS2.

Ebay copies are very likely to be pirated. Only buy if the vendor is willing to provide a transfer of license that can be signed and sent to Adobe. Asking for this will result in most pirates running away.

You cannot, for instance, buy my version 7, which was left when I upgraded to CS. There is only one license for the two versions. Only if someone stopped using Photoshop entirely, and had 7 as his latest version, and wants to sell it, would be legal.

Why would you want to buy an earlier version instead of the latest?

Amazon may be a more reliable source – and one with more comeback < http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Photoshop-7-0-Old-Version/dp/B00 0063EMG>

Because it will run off a flash drive?

I’m running PS 7 at work, even though there is a copy of CS2 on the shelf. The machine only has 512M, and I don’t want CS2 installed until they get my RAM up to 1 gig.

Rob,

I run PS6 off a flash drive. I am ASSUMING that 7 will work the same way. I install 6 normally to my HD and then just drag the PS folder onto the USB key. Double clicking photoshp.exe launches Photoshop on any computer you can plug your USB key into.

A direct install to the USB key might work as well but I’ve never tried it.

Yeah, right … it took them two months to get me Flash … I’ll be another two for the RAM, at best.

Ho,

I’ll have a go at it with 7.
