I know that sounds funny. I have a huge file, nearly 2gigs, with a bunch of compositions in it.

The designer asked me for the photoshop file. Well, his machine couldn’t even open it if I gave it to him. He actually wants a psd with the layers that make up each layer composition.

Is there a way to save a psd that will only save what is visible? That would be Really nice.

Andy,

Either Merge Visible, or, if the layers should remain separate, delete the invisible layers and Save As.

Have you investigated Layer Comps? I think that would be ideal for what you want.

Read about them in PS Help.
