I am working on a project which consist with 1000+ domestic images. The aim for the end result is to create a flip book that the pages are sorted according to a spectrum. ie. from red to green to blue to orange. show it shows the gradient when flipping through the pages. However I do not want to do it manually by comparing histogram of 1000+ photos. Is there anyway or programs that can perform such function, sort and export images in sequence?
Please help!

Interesting concept.

I don’t have it loaded just now, but if I remember correctly, Photoshop Album has a "Sort by Colour" facility.

Might be worth downloading the free trial.

Actually Album is no longer a product. It is generally replaced by PSE 5. No free trial for Album. It had a color FIND thinggy where you pick a photo and find other photos with similar color distribution that are displayed in the photo well. The photos are sorted in decreasing order of similarity.

Don’t know what PSE 5 sorting has but you may want to check out that forum.

So does that mean Adobe have provided a database cataloguing facility in PSE5?

If so, perhaps there is a chance this oft requested feature will turn up in PSCS3.

Let’s hope 🙂

From what I understand, improved original Albums are in the PSE family 3, 4 and now 5 under the name Organizer. But the general theory is organizer won’t make it to PSCS 3. And then Adobe Lightroom adds to the confusion. 🙂

Hoping like you, but not to confident. 🙁
