Photoshop 7.0 Page color is all grey

when I try to open a new page, my color turn’s to grey. I have tried to reset the tools, but each new page pops up with (grey) in the title and I cant seem to figure out how to change it. If I close the picture i am working on the color comes back until i open a new picture or reopen the old…

What am I doing wrong, can someone PLEASE help me!

You’re in Greyscale. Set the Colour Mode to RGB.
