I was wondering what software all you good people here use to read the newsgroup? I’m using Agent, but I was wondering if there was some other reader that is prefered here?
I’m asking because I have to scroll across the page to read the posts. I have word wrap activated, so my posts don’t require scrolling with Agent, but since so many here seem to post without using word wrap, I thought that maybe everyone was using another reader that showed the entire sentence without the need to scroll side to side. Just curious…

Is there not a setting in Agent that allows you to set the length of line displayed, or is that just for sending?
I’m on OE.

No, it’s just for sending. I have it set at 70 words. If you’re using OE, and your message is word wrapped so that I don’t have to scroll across the page, do you have something set in OE to word wrap? I see some posts that are like yours, but most of the others are very long across the page. Do you see any difference in the posts, or is it just a thing with Agent?

Talker,

Looks like it, I use Agent on my desktop and I have to sometime use the scroll bars to see all the post.
Never had to with OE.
