Hello,

Is there a resolution considered as standard for printing images?

Thank You,
Miguel

Usually 300 dpi for offset printing. You can get by with around 200 for inkjet.

It depends on the printer.

Epson printers are best at 720 dpi or 360 dpi. Well, they should be at some nice fraction of 720. For example 240 dpi works well. I’ve heard that HP and Canon like 300 dpi.

Then again, I bet you can’t tell any difference with a non-optimized dpi. For example, print at 360 and 300 on an Epson and you probably can’t tell the difference at normal viewing distances.
