That’s a tough question there Hargold. I bought an Epson 2200 for my daughter some years back, and I have found that, first, the best paper to use with it is Epson paper, and second, there is little or no discount for their paper.
If you buy Epson paper from a CompUsa, Staples, or Office Depot, they are all about the same price. If you go online and buy it, you can find it for less money, but then you have to pay for shipping, and paper weighs alot, so what you save on the paper, you spend on shipping.
I usually order her paper ( Epson Luster 13×19 size, 50 sheet boxes) in quantities of at least 4…sometimes 6. You may find some online stores that offer free shipping on orders over a certain amount, but they change from time to time, so you need to shop around. If I can find it in the store, I’ll buy it there, if not, then I’ll order it online, but I always look for it locally first. Looking at 5×7 paper, CompUsa has it for $8.99 for 20 sheets, while the online sellers are about $7.99. When you add the shipping to the $7.99, it will end up costing as much or more than CompUsa.
