I purchased this program for all it’s worth, awed by the bridge attributes, only to find out that it does not open. the packaging has no indications that the bridge needs other programs to function. Am I misssing something? What do I need to do to get the bridge to function in Adobe Photoshop CS2? Please help. Thank you.

Hi

I’m just passing by, but I would suggest that you uninstall the software and then download another copy from the Adobe web -page.
It sure sounds like your disk is corrupted.

Then of course reinstall the software and I bet it will work this time around.

With that great wisdom I’m out of here.

Good night to all and all a good night.

Thanks,
Von

You can set Bridge to open/load automatically when you start Photoshop (setting in Preferences), or you can place a Bridge shortcut on your desktop to run it independently.

Did you check in your Programs Menu to confirm it did in fact install at the same time as CS?

You might also get more help on this at the Adobe Bridge forums.

Best of luck with it.

Geri: Good Morning!

Just to reinforce what others before me have said, Bridge opens for me w/o other CS2 stuff also open. In other words, it is a self-operating, stand-alone appl.

BTW, you are right! It has excellent features that I had not observed before.
