WindowsXP Crash in PS7.0.1 File Browser

When useing file browser in docked position, PS locks up or shuts down system. Currently not using file browser, everything appears to be ok.
Any one else experienced this problem.
This is the ERROR message reported by XP.

Has the file browsert ever worked? where was it last looking? hd cd?

Hi Jack, I’ve been using an old PC while my laptop has been away being mended, and I’ve been getting the same errors on it. However, the errors weren’t in anyway connected with Photoshop. I’d recommend that you have a look at the thread in the FAQs about hardware locking up. If you’re confident enough to do it flashing your bios may also be an option as your hardware is definitely having problems.

Thats why i thought that the file browser may be pointing at the cd drive?
