What is wrong with photoshop CS ?
It hangs for seconds when saving, opening etc.
1,25 GB ram / 2.4 processor / seperate scratchdisk/ XP pro

Most likely your OS swapfile is struggling (fragmented, or set too small), or you have a disk problem causing it to take a long time for simple I/O.
