I have a copy of Photoshop.
I had put it on my PC. I just got a Mac, and it seems it doesa not work properly. Can I use The same copy of PhotoShop for PC and Mac?????

No, i think you can get whats called a crossgrade,but then your pc version would be void.

If you bought a new Mactel then you have to install Win xp in a dual boot configuration. This is the only way to get Photoshop to run natively on one of those until (and it may not happen) Adobe releases CS3 for that platform. Adobe has every incentive to abandon the Mac OS and precious little economic incentive to continue supporting that platform after Aperture. The sales volume of Photoshop on the Mac is a tiny fraction of the Win volume. Graphics professionals who are religiously chained to their Macs would have to follow and would find no difference other than less expensive, better performing hardware and a different keyboard.
