Help combining paths!

Hello, I was trying to create a crown shape with the pen. I drew half, then duplicated, and flipped horizontally so that both sides are identical. The problem is that now there is a line going down the middle of the crown.

How could I combine both halves, removing the line? Thanks

Use the path selection tool to select both paths, then look in the options bar. You can intersect overlapping areas, exclude overlapping areas, etc., then combine.
