I placed a vector logo of one of our sponsors into a document, fine. < http://img134.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=57475_Untitled_1_ 122_564lo.jpg> However when I try to transform the logo (in this case just resize it)… …. the bounding box expands well past the size of the object. < http://img163.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=57480_Untitled_2_ 122_516lo.jpg> This means that most of the resizing of this logo has to be judged by eye as the expanded transform box will snap to guides/etc, but will shrink when committed.
Anyone else get this?

ps: reproducible on my laptop as well.

Try opening the logo in Illy and saving as AI.

Works a bit better, yet now it adds about a third of a mm to the top of the logo on transform. < http://img127.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=58613_Untitled_1_ 122_460lo.jpg> transform
