I keep getting error message when I try and use a photo from Photoshop in my Printmaster program. How can these photos be used other than developing them. I cannot even get the use of them with a CD. I need help ASAP.
I am working on a calendar and make a collage of pictures on it. Thanks

What exactly does the error message say? Are you using the correct file format? I’d ask the Printmaster people. Do they provide a manual or Help files with their software?

I doubt many if any here use Printmaster.

First off…this is a Printmaster issue, not a Photoshop issue.

Which version of Printmaster are you using? I just had a quick look at the Broderbund site, and I see many different versions.

You should be able to find your answer at the following link: < http://support.broderbund.com/brands.asp?webQueue=17&ind =0&webqueuename=PrintMaster%AE>

If not there, have a look at the Help files for Printmaster and see which image format(s) it will accept. Surely, Photoshop can output files which Printmaster can use.

if using jpg files, make sure you’re saving them from photoshop with image preview turned off.

It may be as simple as making sure your files are RGB, not CMYK as they are probably destined for a home inkjet printer. Most non-professional programs cannot handle CMYK files.

If PrintMaster won’t accept PSD, TIFF or PDF files, I’d suggest using PNG24 if PrintMaster will accept them, as opposed to JPEGs.

But that’s just me.

Thanks for the info. This is Printmaster Platinum and I have used it for YEARS and that is part of the problem. But I am 69 and not ready to change things I guess. Thanks again for advice.
