Let’s say I open an image and then I open another image and I drag one image on top of the other image as a layer. Then I go up to the layers menu and hit "Add Layer Mask" > "Reveal All". OK, here is where the problem kicks in. If I want to erase the top layer with the layer mask highlighted……the erasing is only partially done. In other words…..instead of completely erasing what I want erased….you can still see the remains of the image slightly. The erase opacity is set to 100% as is the flow. I am using a soft brush to erase. I have been doing this type of thing for a long time with no problem. The entire portion I wanted to erase did in fact get erased when it was working OK. Now it erases maybe 90% but leaves a sort of dulled opaque image instead of fully erasing. I hope this makes sense. How can I fix this problem?
