Hello all,

I have a photo of a sky with clouds and apparently one is able to increase the contrast of said clouds–how does one go about doing this?

Cheers,
RP.

Luminosity blending

Control+Alt+~ selects highlight luminosity…Control+J to new layer Control+Alt+~ Control+Shift+I selects shadow luminosity…Control+J to a new layer

Set highlight luminosity layer blend mode to darken or multiply (or try them all)

Set shadow luminosity layer blend mode to lighten or screen (or try them all…)

Also steep Z curve in LAB mode does wonders…
