i use to shoot in raw (nef files) and in file properties, the resolution is written at 240ppi??

I don’t think ppi means anything for digital camera’s and if it does, it would be definately different from the 300 you mentioned:

Camera: Nikon D100
Horizontal output resolution (thus interpolated): 3008 pixels Horizontal sensor size: 2.37 cm
Horizontal pixels per cm: 1269 corresponds with approx. 3224 pixels per inch

Are the file properties from Windows Explorer? I never trust what Microsoft applications say, although I am a Windows user…

ppi comes in when outputing to print: it doesn’t make any sense to send 2400 ppi to a consumer (or any?) inkjet printer. When you want to print your image in 15cm x 10cm, you can resize dramatically (your 300 ppi is excellent for most printers) to 1772 x 1181 pixels.
