Open Recent does not open file

Since a few days my photoshop will not open a file from the "Open Recent" list anymore. i reinstalled photoshop and also reset the program settings at startup but the problem remains! It does correctly add recently used files just doesent let me open them.. verry annoying!

Any help would be most welcome..

The obvious reason would be that they have been moved. Could also be on an external or network drive.

How did you reset your preferences?

Manually? If so which files did you delete?

Or with the key combination? If so did you get a dialog box?

used the key combination and did get the dialog box. The files did not move for sure. weird issue..

I just used Crap Cleaner (ccleaner) and after a restart it worked again like it should!
