Does anyone know what software plastic surgeons use to take a picture of a patient face, other body parts and make adjustments so the patients can see
what they will look like after surgery.
Custom software, written just for that purpose and not available at CompUSA.
CAPS (Computer Aided Plastic Surgery) software typically retails for about $36,000 per seat, or more. It’s extremely specialized 3D visualization software and can often import 3D models from MRI scanners, cameras, and the like.
You thinking about going into the field? 🙂
