Patter file is bad or corrupt: CS wont load

Im getting the error This pattern file is bad or corrupt..i click on the the program just locks up. I tried moving all my styles and patterns to a temp folder and starting it up and im still getting that error. I also tried holding CTRl,Shift,Alt down and clicking ok to reset a file…still not working
