Missing circular selector

Occasionally, the circular selector for the Clone Stamp and Spot Healing tools for Photoshop CS2 become just a dot with small 4 lines pointing out around it which stays the same small size no matter which size I make the tool. To get the sizeable circle shape back, I sometimes have to exit and restart Photoshop CS2 several times.

What causes this condition and what do I need to set to get the sizeable circle selector back when it somehow changes to that other small fixed-size shape.

Thanks to anyone who can help me out.

The precise cursor comes up if you have Caps Lock on.

Next time you have the problem, check your caps lock key.

Thanks. The Caps Lock button was the answer. It toggles the cursor between the sizeable circle and a fixed size dot.
