If you can find the Kai’s Power tools 6 suite – it has a pretty nice lens flare plug in.

Not free though.

Same as Jason said.

Someones been requesting one recantly, its by far the best I can do speed wise.

But I dont have anyotherplugins that do Lens flare.

Does this confuse photographers who are mostly trying to avoid LF?

You can get a lot of varying afects from the standard PS pluging though, are you sure you have pushed it as much as you might?

Not if you apply it to a duplicate layer and then adjust blending options. Try difference…you can get some pretty groovacious effects.

A lot of plugins seem to produce the same lens flare effects. Not surprising since they’re reproducing the same photographic effect. For something different, you might look at axiom, knoll, or flAIR, but they cost $$$. Try this tutorial <http://user.fundy.net/morris/redirect.html?photoshop6.shtml> for a nice flare effect.

Once you have applied the standard lens flare effect, you can then apply other afects such as the many blurr or other distortion affects, applying the same affect several times can also give some interesting results, as shown in this tut by Trevor, <http://user.fundy.net/morris/redirect.html?photoshop6.shtml>

But, re-reading the original post, I see that KLF would not help dougleax, as he searches a free plug-in!
