Hi, I am from Australia, and am currently in Brazil. I decided to bring just my photoshop CD rather than a laptop, but when I tried to install it here (On my Girlfriends computer), it only gave me one language option (Portuguese-Brazil), which is fine, except that the CD can’t find the lang.dat file on my CD – I assume because of the clash of languages/versions.

Is there any way around it? A Patch, or a trick I can use?

Without photoshop I won’t be able to edit anything, but as I’m shooting raw files and didn’t bring other software, I won’t even be able to view them for the 3 months of my stay. Is there a standalone version of Bridge available for download, or a similar RAW viewer?

Thanks in advance,
Ben

I think that language option is only for display of the EULA during setup. it shouldn’t effect usage of the program. go ahead and install it. just hit the OK button when it comes up.

I suspect Dave is right. But there is another option, and that is to go to the Control Panel > Regional and Languages and set Windows to US English before trying the install. If it is some other problem than the EULA language, this might help.
