Problem after uninstall of CS3 Beta

After I uninstalled the Beta of CS3, Photoshop CS2 can no longer open Bridge directly. Bridge itself runs fine when started outside Photoshop and can send an image to Photoshop, but the link/icon that starts Bridge from inside PS doesn’t work any more. I’m using Photoshop 9.0.2 and Bridge 1.0.4.6. The message is "Error 2. Photoshop is undefined."

the quickest solution is to probably reinstall cs2 directly over the current installation.

when you uninstalled the beta, did you say "NO" when it asked if you "want to remove shared files"? if not, then that’s the problem. if you did say no, you’d be kind to report this in the cs3 forum so the guys can look at it.

This is happening to me right now too.

I don’t recall if it ever asked to remove shared files.

If I reinstall over PS CS2 will I have to redo all of my settings, actions, etc??

no you shouldn’t as they’re created after an installation so an uninstall/reinstall won’t affect them.
