Suppose I resize a tiff image to smaller pixel size, and save it. If I change my mind and want to resize the same image to the original, larger size, will there be any loss in quality?

Absolutely. just try it. make a dupe of your file and reduce it from say 300ppi to 72 ppi and then resize it back up to 300. now compare the final image to the original at 100 percent view and you will see its not a good idea.

It’s kind of like taking a book, tearing out every second page, and putting some blank pages back in their place, you kind of miss some of the plot.
