Hi I seem to have gotten into some mode where my R,G, B channels are in grey scale. That is what they look like in the channel pallet window. The RGB is in color. Consequently when I use a tool like dodge the changes are in greyscale. I guess this comes under the banner "I do not remember what button I pressed" DO you know how to correct this?

Check your preferences, there is an option to view the channels in colour.

Update: That suggestion changes the color of the icons in the Channels pallet but not my major problem. Which is when I use a tool like "Burn" (please note correction from my first message!) the changes are in greyscale.

Hum,

I thought you were talking about displaying an individual channel.

Channels by definition are a greyscale image
