Has anyone seen this scanner work? You can restore old photos at home. It is supposed to "automatically fix cracks, creases, small tears, wrinkles, scratches & removes dust" from your pictures.

It uses software from Applied Science Fiction called Digital ICE. I went to their website and looked also. It looks like the software only comes with a scanner, not as a separate plug-in.
Just wondering if it works as advertised. And maybe if another plug-in exist that is comparable to this.
I’m getting pretty proficient with Ps7 and have been staying away from using any plug-ins. I would rather be able to do any effects myself. But this looks interesting. I have 3 shoe boxes of old home photographs that my mother wants me to scan and put on disk for the family. Well some of them could really benefit from some workovers.
Thanks for information you might have on the subject.
