The academic version is identical to the full commercial version. Check the FAQs for issues with the Adobe Help Center.

Bob,
I did that. It tells about certain files within the help folder and mine has none of them in the help folder. I will go back there and double check in the Adobe Help Center but I think I did everything it said to do…
Thank You,
Don
I went again and did everything the "help center" said to do and still nothing. It acts like the only program it is recognizing is my Premier Elements 2.0 and not CS2 at all. I wonder if I am going to have to Un-Install my CS2 program and then reinstall it to get it to work…
Thanks,
Don
Yes. I have the Academic Version and the Help file is included. You may indeed have to reinstall the software.
To all that posted on this thread.
Thank you for posting here. I finally found the problem. The "help" folder I was needing was in the wrong place. I copied and pasted it to the correct place and now it is working. I thank you all for your help.
I appreciate it.
Don
Don, where did you find it and where did you post it to? Thanks. Cecil
Cecil,
C drive then…
Program files then…
Adobe then…
Adobe Photoshop CS2 then…
a folder zip file called Photoshop _9.0_en-us
I copied and pasted the Photoshop _9.0_en-us zip file folder to my folder called Packages.
Then I started CS2 up and when I clicked on the "help" icon it loaded up and I was ready to go.
Give that a try Cecil and see if it works. If not I have a web page that has three steps to it and I only needed to go to the second step to make it work.
Don
Don, I will try that…thanks….this is the power of a forum like this…a place for each to help and not merely critique the question…thanks again, I will let you know what "hoppens".
Cecil
You’re welcome and as I said if for some reason that doesn’t work for you let me know and I will give you the web address that lists all 3 solutions.
