I have uninstalled Photoshop 7 tryout. During the uninstallation process, I’ve been prompted about leaving or removing some shared files. I chosen to leave them, not remove. I will reinstall full version later, probably. Should I remove this files before program re-installation, or leave it as is and Photoshop will overwrite it ?

I’m pretty sure I had that trial, way back when it was available, and don’t recall any such list of messages. I wonder if something was weird on your computer when you tried to uninstall, locking those files somehow.

You might want to restart the computer clean, and try the uninstall over (you might have to reinstall again first).

If you have no other Adobe programs, you could manually delete the Adobe folders, but some of them, especially the ones in the Common Files>Adobe area, could be used by other Adobe applications.

But if PS 7 is the only one you have, you can delete manually. If you get a newer version later it will reinstall all the bits it needs.

That was normal uninstall process via Add/Remove program, without any weird or something else. Uninstall Wizard just ask standard prompt do I want leave or remove shared files.(I just copied this list for note). I chosen to leave them – because I have other Adobe programs(Adobe Reader) installed and have no idea do this files could be used by other Adobe applications or not.
I will reinstall PS7 later – will reinstallation overwrite these files? I preffer do not litter a Program files directory with unnecessary files.
