I am totally new to digital photo editing but have taken the plunge with PS CS 2 and am committed to learning it for my personal (NOT professional) use. I’m an amateur photog that enjoys photography for the sake of a hobby.

I intend to enroll in a Photoshop class at our local Community College but that won’t start until late March.

In the meantime what are the best tutorials or sites that can walk a true beginner thru the basics (baby-steps) so I can at least have good working foundation before attending a class… plus I don’t want to wait until March to get started!

Thanks!

I suggest www.good-tutorials.com or www.pixel2life.com or other related tutorial sites which you can search from google. However another really good alternative is if you purchase Adobe Photoshop CS2 – Classroom in a Book. That comes with a book, pdf ebook, fonts, video tutorials, etc. That should cover everything you wish to learn about photoshop.
