Should be simple… but I can’t get the status bar to show up while in PS (CS2). Changed workspace settings, opened and closed program, my XP defaults all are set to show status bar… just can’t figure it out.

Any help appreciated.
Thanks

It’s an interface change. It will show up when files are large enough to require it when saving.

I thought it just sat there, at the bottom of the window (not on the image itself), similar to the status bar in a browser.

Then again, it *is* on the bottom per document.
Not quite sure what I was thinking… and why.
🙂
Thanks Ed.

Kitty was talking about the Status Bar that used to be at the bottom of the application window, which has gone to the individual image windows. This move was greeted with a lot of complaints at the time.

The Progress Bar, which Ed is alluding to, was part of that but is shown now in a free-floating window which appears when Photoshop thinks it should. 😉
