Here’s something that just started happening to me with CS3…

I was watching the video’s on the new features of CS3 and attempted to try the "opening of images in Camera Raw" feature… At first it worked excellent! But shall I say it was short lived. One thing that I found was that no matter what format type or size image that I have selected in the CS3 Bridge the option to "Open in Camera Raw" under "File" in the Bridge’s menu is and has been, constantly Greyed-Out.— Secondly after using this feature for a dozen or so images (at different times) via the "File/Open As/" from directly within PS-CS3 I was displayed the following message:

"Could not complete your request because the file-format module could not parse the file."

Now anywhere from 6 to 8 out of every 10 attempts at opening an image from within the Bridge or Using PS’s File/Open I’m being faced with the exact same message… Yet I have found that if I use the ole’ Double-Clicking the empty background of PS inorder to get the "Open" panel I can click on "Any" image, in any format, and it will open with no problems "Except" for .jpg’s… Every .jpg that I attempt to open this way opens directly in "Camera Raw".

I’ve attempted to post these an other issues that I’ve come across on the "CS3- Photoshop & Bridge" forum’s only there is something drastically wrong with the forums… I have been trying to Use & or Create a Nickname ever since I first had something to report and I can in no way get past the Nickname request. I’ve used everything from the word "Toilet" to a bunch of characters such as "klmpwqtvzx" and yup, you guessed it, it was taken too… I’ve posted a message of the Forum’s Forum page but until then I guess I’ll have to continue posting here…

Jim.

Hey John,…

Would you believe that I just tried to do what you suggested and for the first time in more than I can count I wasn’t asked for a "Nickname" at all… This time I was asked for my Email & Password… I put them in and bamm! I was in! "And yes, I made sure that I checked off the (remember me)…

Thanks…

Jim…
