Just installed PS CS2 on a new Windows XP machine with 4 GB RAM and lots of hard drive space. When I invoke HELP (HELP>PHOTOSHOP HELP or pressing F1), it gives the following error:
"There was an error bringing the Help application forward. You may need to re-install the application and the Help component."
(Incidentally, I do NOT get this error with PS CS2 Help on my Windows 2000 machine.)
I did a repair install and it didn’t work. I then deleted the directory named C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Help Center and did a repair install as directed in another portion from this forum (under the posting entitled Help returns: The operation could not be completed.). Though its not the exact same error message, I tried his suggestions to no avail.
