No matter what size brush I choose when using the rubber stamp tool in Photoshop 6.5, it only duplicates maybe 2 pixels. I can choose a 300 pixel brush and the brush shape shows up fine, but it actually only stamps 2 pixels or so. Any thoughts? Like maybe re-installing default brushes?

Paperback,

I’m fairly new to PS with vs 7, so, take my advice "with a grain of salt."

When I come across "bizzare behavior"–it’s usually because I have changed something in an experimentation process that "sticks." There are so many variables. I live by the rule—when something strange happens, I restart the program and "ditch" the preferences.

Translated, it gets things back to "the way they were." See the FAQ section for resetting the preferences if you aren’t familiar with the process.

If that doesn’t help—come back and I’m sure the "smart" people will help.

I was thinking PageMaker 6.5 for a second there, but meant PS 6. I’m beginning to think the same Patty, this morning the brushes are fine after re-booting machine. Dave, how do I check to see if feathering is off on the stamp tool?
