I received a gray scale tiff from a client. When I went to open it, it gave me the warning about using pixel aspect ration for preview mode only. The file was being squashed horizontally and the title of the document had " [scaled] " written next to it.
I went into the menu bar at the top/view and turned of the pixel aspect ration so it was grayed out. The picture returned to it’s normal width.
I then tried pasting that file into another Photoshop file as a layer and BAM!! it returned to its squashed look.
How can I fix this problem.
By the way this piece nor the project are for video or tv purposes.
Thanks for your time,
Michael
