lining up text for rollover buttons

Hi guys. I am making rollover buttons for my site – the buttons are blue, but turn green when rolling over them. Here’s my problem; I am opening up both the blue, and green buttons in PS – but I’m having a hard time making the text match up to the exaxt point on both buttons. When I rolled over the button, the text didnt match on both buttons. Is there a field where I can type in a position rather then doing it by eye using the X & Y?

I am opening up both the blue, and green buttons in PS

Create each of the buttons as seperate layers in the one file. That way you can use guides to line them up.

OR:

Make your first button then duplicate it and change the colour.
