Photoshop Extremly Slow/Freezing

Can somebody help me with this situation, every time I start Photoshop I have to wait a half hour before I can start to work because it just wouldn’t budge, I mean it is extremely slow and freezing up on me, I think I have a decent computer (see Below) and enough memory (2 gig) and don’t see why it should act up on me?

Yikes! I think if I was Photoshop I would have gone on a ‘go-slow’ too<BG>

Sorry, would have liked to help but have to inquire at what point you noticed the big slow-down. Often best to go back to the point where things were fine then go forward and evaluate one step at the time.
