Personally I find iExplorer 7 just great. You will, of course, have to get used to the low-flying house bricks coming from the direction of the FireFox Fans!
As for updates generally. I pretty well always accept them, particularly as they often contain security patches to keep the naughty boys and girls from climbing in through the back window.
It’s certainly an improvement on version 6.
Chris & John, thanks for fast reply. As for FireFox, I don’t want to add another program to my system. Again, I make very few changes to it.

Explorer 7 is an improvement, but it’s just not as good as FF, IMO. I find it very slow and I’m not using a slow computer. The simply act of closing it takes several seconds.
Bob
Since you mention it Bob, I agree.
It’s also a messy interface compared with FF.
Thanks for that info. Actually, my only concern is that I don’t want to make any changes that mess with my computer in general and Photoshop in particular.
I’m using CS and it very seldom gives me any problems. I hope to keep it that way by not making unneeded changes.
As far as for speed, I use the internet strictly for e-mail and my daily visits to this forum. I’m on dial-up so speed isn’t a main concern.
How about the Adobe Flash upgrade?

How about the Adobe Flash upgrade?
Without it you will eventually come up against a "This page needs the latest version of…" message when you try to load a web page which has a recently made flash presentation.
Has anyone accepted the Flash upgrade? To me it looks as neither originating from Adobe nor Macromedia.
It came up twice and I denied it. A bit paranoid, although this is just my mail and (forum) rant box. It has exploded before, and I always have been able to dust the bits together again.
Rob
"A bit paranoid". Yeah, that’s me also. In the sixties we had a saying: "Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean that they aren’t out to get you.
Q
If you can remember the ’60s you weren’t actually there. <g>
Bob
So what band did "Paranoid"? Black Sabbath or Grand Funk Railroad.
(Sorry! sorry, just aging)
Oh, I remember the 60’s. I just don’t remember much of what I did there

Memory?

WHOO HOO! 🙂
We did the Explorer7.0 upgrade and it seems to be OK. After first restart it ran poorly. The windows took forever to redraw and so-forth. On next restart it seems to be about as fast as 6.0. Photoshop runs fine.
Thanks to all that gave opinions. Including the burned out hippy remarks!
