Problem printing CS2 to new HP scanner/printer

I jsut got a new HP 7180 all in one and Photoshop does not find it as a scanner (though it does show as a choice) nor does it print (again it shows the printer). The picture goes to the the printer Queue and sits there. the printer remains mute. Any ideas?

Have you checked to see if it is on-line or off-line..sometimes the check is on off-line and it sits in the queue…just a thought

If the print job goes into the queue and sits there, the system isn’t talking to the printer for some reason. Cecil’s comment about checking to make sure it’s online is a good start.
