Is it possible, in Photoshop 7, to change from circle to other shapes, either prepicked or customized? Oval, squarish, irregular blob, etc.? At this point I only know how to change size of circle via Options Window Brush. Advice appreciated

Look at your Brushes palette. You can pick whatever Brushes you have available for any kind of tool that uses a brush, Clone, Blur, etc.
