I am trying to create an arrow that curves like a wide ‘C’ or a lower case ‘r’ (with only one curve point). I’ve tried creating line and then shaping it with the ‘pen tool’ and freeform pen, etc; however, its creates more of an S shape (two curve points).
Does anyone have a recommendations for creating the curve I am looking for?

….ok, I figured out how I want to create the curve; however, it now creates a shape that looks like half a circle; so there is a shape instead of a single line curve.
Just letting you know my progress.

Check the options bar for the pen tool for the fill

That is exactly what I am trying to do; can I ask how you did that? Did you place anchor points at the end of the line?
I would just like at the "Help" function; however, when it is selected, it never comes up.

With the pen tool, click-drag then click drag again.

Every time I make a "line" using the "line tool", it actually makes more of a very thin rectangle (‘a’). When I try to manipulate it to make a curve, it comes out either like ‘b’ or ‘c’. Is there an easier way to make it look like ‘d’ (excuse my less-than-sturdy hand)?
